The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. A searchable food and medical product recall database is available at www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm.


Units: About 4,600 cribs and furniture pieces

Hazard: The vintage gray paint contains lead, which is harmful to children if mouthed or eaten.

Description: Recalled are Baby’s Dream full-size cribs, furniture and accessories sold in a vintage gray paint finish under the Brie, Braxton, Heritage, Everything Nice and Legendary collections. The model number is on a label on the bottom of the crib’s back frame and the back panel of the furniture. Model numbers included in the recall are online at http://1.usa.gov/1H8iGEs.

Sold at: Specialty furniture stores nationwide and at BabysDream.com from March 2014 through March 2015 for $350 to $900 for the cribs and $450 to $1,000 for the dressers, hutches, nightstands, bookcases and chests.
