and best practices for talking to children about natural disasters. Users can find
resources to help kids before, during and after 10 different natural disasters.
Features of the app include:
audio clips of real-life experiences;
checklists to help families prepare for natural disasters;
information on how children typically respond during and after natural disasters;
age-appropriate language for explaining different kinds of disasters.
The app also allows users to connect to activities, books for children, tip sheets
and other resources.
