Abstract
"The Shocking Adventure of Casual T. Cat", a public service announcement (PSA) urging families to childproof their homes, was released by the Academy last month. The PSA was released at a May 22 news conference in Los Angeles and, in turn, was sent to over 400 television stations across the nation. The Academy produced this 30-second PSA with Will Vinton Productions of Portland, Oregon — the creators of the California Raisin spots. "Casual T. Cat", just like the California Raisins, was created entirely through Claymation.
