The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. A searchable food and medical product recall database is available at www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm.

Units: About 5,500 baskets and 800 stands

Hazard: The basket can slide off an inclined surface, and the stand can tip, posing a fall hazard for infants.

Description: Recalled are Tadpoles Baby and Kids brand Moses baskets and stands. The Moses basket is made from natural tan wild palm leaves. The stand has a pine wood frame, a fabric platform and polyester rope design. “Tadpoles” is printed on the clear plastic wrapping on the Moses baskets and stands.

Sold at: Babies R Us and buybuy Baby and online at Amazon.com, Bellacor.com, Kohls.com, Quidsi.com, Wayfair.com and Zulily.com. The Moses baskets were sold from April 2014 through July 2015 for $50 to $90, and the stands were sold from June 2014 through July 2015 for $25 to $35.

Remedy: Contact the firm for instructions on returning the basket and stand for store credit.
