The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s new searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Importer: Bridgeway International of Naples, Fla.
Hazard: The bicycle chain can break, causing a rider to lose control and fall.
Description: This recall involves “NEXT”-branded men’s 26-inch hybrid red and orange bicycles with model numbers LBH2611M and LBH2611M2. “Power X” and “Suspension” are printed on the frame.
Sold at: Walmart from February through July 2011 for about $100.
