Abstract
Stanley A. Plotkin, M.D., of Doylestown, Pa., received the Chevalier of the Legion of Honor insignia from the president of France.
Dr. Plotkin was honored during a ceremony in Marnes la Coquette, France, for his role in vaccine development, particularly the rubella vaccine, and for his service as medical and scientific director of Pasteur Merieux Connaught, an international vaccine manufacturer headquartered in France.
